The Flavor of Origami

 

 

 

My brain hurts

And my heart aches

And a storm wind throbs

Across the window panes

 

Darkness shrouds the gasping breath of me

In droplets and rivulets of me melting

In a further fading away

 

As a cloud sighs

I am diminished by multitudes

Lost in the morass of millions

Water, water everywhere

But here

 

Folded and molded

Once the flavor of Origami

A taste savored, now crushed

And in the trash

 

Breathe she says, breathe

And still I ask why

Does the wall not enjoy

The beating of my head?
